My Favorite Animal

我最喜欢的动物

My favorite animal is the peacock (孔雀). Its feathers (羽毛) are as colorful as a rainbow (彩虹). Once, I saw a peacock in the zoo. It spread its tail (尾巴) like a beautiful fan (扇子). I was so excited and took many pictures. Peacocks make me feel the magic (神奇) of nature (自然).

My favorite animals are my two pet (宠物) parrots (鹦鹉): Milkshake and Pea. They usually get along well, but sometimes Pea grabs (抢占) Milkshake’s food. Milkshake is gentle (温和的) and doesn’t mind. They are lively (活泼的) and playful, and I love watching them play and sing.

My favorite animal is the penguin (企鹅). Penguins look cute and feel soft (柔软的). They live in Antarctica (南极洲), where winter temperatures (温度) can drop (下降) to -60°C or lower (更低的). Penguins swim very fast. They can withstand (承受) storms (暴风雪)! I like them—what about you?
